This is my blog of reflections, musings and ideas. Originally started as a requirement of the Graduate course "Seminar in Educational Technology" at the University of Manitoba. Now that I have finished my Ph.D. (2014), I will use the blog explore ideas as I proceed through my work in education & educational technology. Fast forward ... I am now retired and don't keep this up. Maybe at some point in the future I will??
Really enjoyed the Wired article, Mike. Sometimes I do feel one with the mouse. The iPhone keyboard lag referred to in the piece is something I've never experienced, though.
That Tim Berners-Lee clip gets to the Visual Data Analysis of the Horizon Report 2010. That was a 5-year projection. Wow! Time goes by so quickly! Thanks. Haven't read Wired mag's Heidegger yet. I will. The days are now longer, but I still can't find the time to do it all.
Hi again. Read the Heidegger piece. Interesting. McLuhan too said that our tools are extensions of ourselves. Ever hear of someone not being able to think unless a pen/pencil was in hand? Thanks for the read.
